do we like backordering?

I'm thinking of allowing the store to take orders for things that are out of stock, there are lots of pros and cons but I'd love to hear if you have an opinion!
At the moment the 'add to cart' button won't work for out of stock items but since re-stocking is going on all the time, it might be more of a nuisance to folks to have to keep calling back...what do you think? you can leave a comment here or on my blog, Thank you!
Yes please to backordering I would find it really helpful as I usually know what I want to order & would save me keep coming back!
